Michigan Geode Cut (Set of 2) UV Reactive
*Product photo is of the actual item you will receive when ordered.
Lake Michigan Beach Geodes are one of the less-common finds on our beaches, but it's very exciting when you do find one. They begin their formation as hollow volcanic rock caused by gas bubbles. But they can also form in areas other than volcanoes. Some geodes are reactive under UV light.
NOTE: Geode shown under a Convoy 8 UV 365nm light and photographed with a Samsung Galaxy 10 phone, not included with purchase. It is advised to use a high quality UV light with a minimum of 365nm rating. Results may vary depending on the quality of UV light used to view rocks. This is not an endorsement of either the Convoy C8 or Samsung Galaxy 10 iPhone.
